First Pony Tails!

I can't find my camera!

Well... I don't know what I am gonna do! I can't find my camera! I was going to post pictures of our MN trip (there are quite a few cute ones!), and my new nephew etc... and I can't find my camera anywhere... I had better find it soon!!!!! So, instead of posting cute pictures of my sweet little Madi poo, I am gonna post new things about my sweet girl - similar to some friends blogs. Here's 10 new things that she has been doing lately:

1: She finally started saying "Papa" to my dad. He is of course just in HEAVEN! :)

2: She has gotten a bit "sassy"! She has needed a few time outs lately to say the least!

3: She loves to close doors, and then of course she gets stuck in the room and starts screaming, especially when she gets stuck in our dark closet... luckily we have a small enough home that I can hear here when I am trying to find my missing girl! She's so quick!

4: She has learned how to stomp! HA! She's loves the song "If you're happy and you know it" and she will stomp on cue.

5: She loves "Itsy Bitsy Spider", and will "sign" the itsy bitsy part of the song to get me to sing it.

6: She can say : Gorilla, papa, dog, truck, dada, mama, hi, tiger (and says "roar roar" for what does a tiger say...), says uh huh when I ask her if she wants something - it's her "yes", kitty cat, no-no, she tried saying drink last night.... so her vocabulary is growing! YAY!

7: She has learned how to take her clothes (if loose fitting) and diaper off... and prefers to be naked... we have to watch her!!!

8: She is currently getting 4 molars... her poor gums are so swollen... :(

9: She is over her first yucky sickness. She had a fever basically from Tuesday last week until Saturday afternoon... she developed a rash on Friday afternoon which lasted until yesterday (Monday) and her ear infection is currently being treated... it was a ROUGH week, but we made it!

10: She is learning her parts of the body quite well! If I ask her she will point to the following: head, hair, ears, eyes, nose, mouth, teeth, belly button, tongue, toes, and tummy. She's doing pretty good!

Well, there's probably more new things, but those are the few I can think of. I will continue to look for my camera, hoping I didn't leave it somewhere... and try to post some new cute pics soon. And, to all of you with cute pictures @ the top of your blog... HELP! I want to know how to do that! John says he knows how, but he doesn't have a ton of time lately to help me design a picture for my blog... lol!

It's Been a While!

Ok, since my last blog... a lot has happened! Madilyn will turn 14 months tomorrow.... Madilyn and I went to visit friends and family in MN, my sister had a baby, Madilyn went up to NC without me when my mom went up to help out my sister and came back 1 1/2 days later sick... :( This is her first big "illness" since she was born. She's had a fever over 102 (without tylenol) for over 24 hours now... I hope that this is a short-lived thing like the nurse said when I called her in a panic yesterday, I don't like my sweet baby feeling sick. I have found that since picking up 5 more hours at work to get some more stuff done, my time @ home and for blogging has become short. I don't even have time for facebook games lately! :) John also got a great idea to save money, and cancelled our cable! lol! Seriously, he totally did, as an experiment... I am going through withdrawals! We have a built in antenna on our tv, so we have like... 6 channels... I haven't had that few channels since.... I can't remember to be honest with you. HA! We watch a lot of HULU hooked up to our TV... and it's not as bad as I originally thought, and we are definitely spending more time together as a couple and as a family instead of watching the tv... but it seems extreme. Thankfully it's an experiment and will hopefully not last forever.

I have quite a few pictures from the aforementioned events that have happened in the past 2 or so months that I will have to post once I find my camera.... just had to post something since it's been so long!
